I am a middle aged person who was born in, and resides in Ontario, Canada. I was born in a small paper mill town notorious for having polluted air. I love to study various subjects for various reasons. I am very much into recycling and support looking for ways to save the environment. I am a vegan by choice and follow Petas guidlines as best I can. I volunteer with my sister and brother in animal rescues. I am told by my friends that I have a very unusual  and somewhat bizarre sense of humor for a grown woman. And for anyone wondering about my profile name... Yes I am surrounded by several feline pets.  

I love gardening, cooking, taking walks, reading, writing, photography, computers, TV, and watching movies. I recently am trying to learn HTML. So far it is not hard. I also like observing nature, such as bird's, insects, and plants. (I draw the line at sticking dead things on pins. I prefer to observe nature in it's living state.) I am a very amateur writer. (I write limericks, poetry, satirical accounts and observations for my friends upon request, or if I just feel like a laugh or am bored.) 

I love the series Stargate Atlantis. I hope to keep on top of the goings on of the series, and any future series or movies along the Stargate lines.
