This was a collaboration with Harsesis, one of my pals from the UK. I wrote the caption and he found the perfect pic to go with it. If you don't find him around here, you can on the KeepTheGateOpen.Net community site, where he's known as quite the cartoon king. Among other things you can thank (or blame) him for helping to launch my Fun With Captions career LOL!
Another collaboration with Harsesis. Oh and if anyone is interested, we're accepting orders for Zat props. Zatnikatels-R-Us, who knows? :D
I loved Elizabeth's character. If you have any of the DVD commentaries. listen for Torri Higginson behind the scenes. Now if I recall, she is actually really fond of playing Solitaire.
There were several episodes with the Russians, but this is my fav. I thought Daria & Daniel played off each other intelligently & humorously. This caption is the result of wondering what might have happened on their lunch date.
Okay, I couldn't resist . . . the United States Department of Agriculture meets the Jaffa Diet.
Qu'est-ce que c'est? It's proof that we can gate across galaxies, and yet we can't escape those annoying advertisements. Remember the sports announcers and commercials from season 7 "Space Race"?
FUN WITH CAPTIONS
is all about finding humorous ways of looking at everyday life through Stargate eyes. Imagine how you or a Stargate character would react, or how alien technology would fit in an ordinary situation. For example, you're changing the cartridge on your ink-jet printer. Now wouldn't it be more interesting to imagine that you were "realigning the imaging crystals" instead? I dreamed up the Blue Jello specials while browsing a restaurant menu. In true Stargate Geek fashion, I couldn't help wondering what a sign in the SGC mess hall might look like :D Think I'm silly? Check out the handiwork on my friend Katie's caption page!
I was inspired by a "bad car day" to compose this caption. Imagine a car dealership filled with rows of new and used Tel'tak vessels and Gliders. And while you're dreaming up what model you're zooming around in, don't forget to accessorize. Beep beep!
Voilà! After asking friends here for help finding bicycle scenes from the show, we now have the perfect shot for this caption. Merci Chevron7, Juji, CarsonBecketRox, and all the others who pointed me to that celebrated episode. And for you sports fans, the reference to O'Neill's pants was meant as a substitute for le maillot jaune (the yellow jersey), what else? :D
